Is your Manual ML Triton (06-on) suffering from significant driveline vibration following a suspension lift? This is because the Manual ML Triton has a two-piece driveshaft with a centre bearing. Your mate in the Auto ML Triton, with the same lift, will not have the same issues because the Auto versions have a single piece driveshaft. The Roadsafe 13.25mm Diff Spacer is fitted between the rear driveshaft and the diff, lowering the bearing by 5-8mm, and compensates for the absence of a slip joint in the drive shaft prolonging the life of the Centre Bearing. Lifting a 4WD changes driveline angles — the transfer case output and diff pinion no longer point at each other the way the factory intended. On some platforms the practical fix is a spacer kit: lowering the transmission/transfer crossmember or spacing a tail shaft centre bearing brings the universal joint angles back into tolerance, curing the vibration that appears under load after a lift.
