Tough Dog front coil springs for the Toyota LandCruiser Prado 250 Series (2024-on), sold per pair with 50mm of lift. TDC1135/1136/1137 suit Foam Cell and 40mm Adjustable struts; TDC1057/1058 suit the flat-seat Ralph struts only. New strut tops (2x TOY-4942) are available - contact us.
Match them with Tough Dog bare struts.
Choose the spring that matches what is permanently fitted to the vehicle, such as a steel bull bar or a bar and winch. The heavier option carries that extra weight at the intended ride height; fitted to a vehicle without the accessories it will sit high and ride firm.
| Part number | Lift | Load rating | Suits / notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| TDC1135 | 50 mm | - | FC/BM Struts: No Accessories |
| TDC1136 | 50 mm | - | FC/BM Struts: Steel Bar |
| TDC1137 | 50 mm | - | FC/BM Struts: Bar, Winch & Accessories |
| TDC1057 | 50 mm | - | Ralph Struts Only: No Accessories |
| TDC1058 | 50 mm | - | Ralph Struts Only: Bar, Winch & Accessories |
Front coil springs are fitted with the strut removed and the spring compressed to swap it onto the strut, so this is a job for a workshop or an experienced fitter with a proper spring compressor. Fit both sides, torque the strut top and lower mounts to spec, then have a wheel alignment done, which is essential after any change in front ride height. Raised springs need shock absorbers with the correct extended length for the new ride height. In most states a suspension lift of up to 50 mm is allowed without certification under VSB14; larger lifts can require engineering approval, so check the rules for your state.

Load ratings refer to permanent extra weight over the axle. Springs do not change the vehicle's GVM or towing capacity.
Yes. The price covers both Tough Dog springs, one for each side.
If you are changing ride height, yes. Shocks are built for a specific travel range, and a lift moves the axle outside the factory shock's range. If you are replacing springs at standard height, existing shocks in good condition can stay.
On Kakadu and VX models, yes - the OEM Adaptive Variable Suspension function is lost when the front and rear shocks are replaced with Tough Dog suspension.
The TDSP-028 rear sway bar bracket must be fitted with every lift kit - add it on the rear coil springs. New strut tops (2x TOY-4942, $120 ea) are available - contact us. Replacement bush kits (TDUK-057 front, TDUK-058 rear, TDUK-032 panhard) and UCA service kits (TDSK-015/016) are also available.
