Tough Dog front struts for the LDV T60 Max (09/2021 onwards, including the coil-rear Max Plus), sold per pair. Strut only - reuses your coil and strut top - and suits standard height up to 40mm of lift.
Foam Cell (FC404926) runs a micro-cellular foam sleeve that eliminates aeration and shock fade on long corrugated runs. The 40mm Adjustable (BM404926) adds 9-position damping adjustment.
These are bare strut cartridges for the LDV T60 Max 09/2021-On (incl. Plus) – the damper only, for vehicles where the existing coils and strut tops are staying. If your coils are original or sagging, look at the assembled option instead so the whole corner goes back together fresh.
The Foam Cell is Tough Dog's twin-tube workhorse: a microcellular foam insert takes the place of the usual air gap inside the shock body, so the oil can't foam up as heat builds and the damping stays consistent on long corrugated stretches. The 40mm Adjustable adds 9-stage adjustable valving – run it softer for unloaded around-town driving, then firm it up when the vehicle is loaded for touring, without taking anything apart.
Sold as a pair. Strut replacement disturbs the front geometry, so a wheel alignment afterwards is part of the job.

Yes - Tough Dog specifies the same front struts for the leaf-rear T60 Max (09/2021-on) and the coil-rear Max Plus (01/2024-on).
Foam Cell is the all-round choice for touring – the foam insert stops the oil aerating so damping stays consistent on corrugations. Step up to the 9-stage Adjustable if the vehicle swings between unloaded weekdays and loaded trips and you want to tune the damping to match, or to the bigger-bore options if it works hard, hot and heavy most of the time.
The listed price covers both sides – always replace left and right together so the axle is evenly damped and sprung. Book a wheel alignment straight after fitting: any change to the front end moves camber and castor enough to affect steering and tyre wear.
