Tough Dog rear shock absorbers for the Toyota Hilux N80 (10/2015-11/2025), sold per pair. Pick your lift height, then the damping to match - including the Super Soft comfort Foam Cell (FC43036) for 0-300kg load springs.
Shocks are the first thing to give up on a Toyota Hilux N80 2015-2025 that gets worked – tired dampers show up as float over undulations, nose-dive under brakes and a body that keeps rocking after the bump has passed.
The Foam Cell is Tough Dog's twin-tube workhorse: a microcellular foam insert takes the place of the usual air gap inside the shock body, so the oil can't foam up as heat builds and the damping stays consistent on long corrugated stretches.
Shocks are sold and fitted as a pair – replacing one side only gives you uneven damping across the axle. While the old ones are off, check the bushes and mounts; hardware that's had years of flex is cheap to do at the same time.
Doing the whole vehicle at once? We also stock the matching TD-R Remote Reservoir Rear Shocks and front Coil Springs for the Toyota Hilux N80 2015-2025.
Match them with Tough Dog rear leaf springs.

The listed price covers both sides – always replace left and right together so the axle is evenly damped and sprung. It's a bolt-in job for a competent home mechanic or any workshop; check bushes, mounts and brake-line slack while everything is apart.
FC43036 Super Soft valving suits comfort use with 0-300kg load springs ONLY - do not use it with Constant 300kg, 500kg or 800kg load leaf springs. The BD3015T Nitrogen Gas shock is also comfort-use only. For loaded vehicles use FC43015 or the 40mm Adjustable.
Yes - the 4x2 Hi Rider (10/2015-11/2025) uses the FC43015 Foam Cell or BM403015 40mm Adjustable shocks at OEM height as a heavy-duty upgrade.
No - the 2023-on Hilux Rogue Widebody and GR Sport are wider and NOT compatible with these parts. See our Hilux Rogue / GR Sport Wide Track category for those models.
