Tough Dog rear shock absorbers for the Toyota LandCruiser 300 Series (03/2021-on), sold per pair. All options suit up to 35mm of lift. The FC43043 is a dedicated valving for the constant-500kg (TDC1061) springs only.
Compatibility note: the OEM Adaptive Variable Suspension fitted to Sahara ZX and GR Sport models is lost when the front and rear shocks are replaced with Tough Dog suspension.
Shocks are the first thing to give up on a Toyota LandCruiser 300 Series that gets worked – tired dampers show up as float over undulations, nose-dive under brakes and a body that keeps rocking after the bump has passed.
Shocks are sold and fitted as a pair – replacing one side only gives you uneven damping across the axle. While the old ones are off, check the bushes and mounts; hardware that's had years of flex is cheap to do at the same time.
