Tough Dog TD-R Pro Series remote reservoir rear shocks for the Toyota LandCruiser 200 Series (11/2007-2021), sold per pair (PRO1004 left + PRO1005 right) with all mounting brackets. Suits standard height up to 20mm of lift. If an aftermarket rear bar is fitted, add the TDSP-040 canister brackets below.
Fitting TD-R Pro Series: all TD-R parts and mounting brackets are designed for a standard specification vehicle. Aftermarket parts - barwork, trays, canopies, long-range tanks, airbags - may affect fitment and should be considered before quoting. Depending on tyre size and wheel offset you may need to protect the hydraulic hose with spiral wrap.
TD-R Pro Series is Tough Dog's remote-reservoir range: a monotube body paired with a gas-charged remote canister that adds oil capacity and moves heat away from the working piston. Heat is what kills a shock on a long corrugated run – the extra oil volume and the canister keep the damping consistent when a standard twin-tube would start to fade.
Compression and rebound are independently adjustable through 8 stages each, so you can tune the vehicle for its load and the country you're crossing rather than living with one compromise setting.
Fit as a pair, mount the reservoirs where they get airflow and can't chafe, and recheck fasteners after the first few hundred kilometres of dirt.
Doing the whole vehicle at once? We also stock the matching rear Shock Absorbers and rear Coil Springs for the Toyota LandCruiser 200.
Match them with TD-R rear coil springs.

The listed price covers both sides – always replace left and right together so the axle is evenly damped and sprung. It's a bolt-in job for a competent home mechanic or any workshop; check bushes, mounts and brake-line slack while everything is apart.
A moderate suspension lift is generally acceptable in most Australian states, but the allowed total lift and whether certification is needed differ between states and change over time – so always confirm with your state’s transport authority before modifying. Our guide explains how the rules work state by state: are lift kits legal in Australia?
