Tough Dog heavy-duty 30mm torsion bars (1145mm length, part 4WTB-1559) for the Isuzu D-MAX RA and RC (MY09-MY11, April 2008 - 2012). Sold as a pair. The thicker 30mm bars support permanently fitted accessories such as bull bars and winches and hold approximately 45mm of front lift without constant re-tensioning of the tired factory bars.
Tough Dog performance torsion bars run a spring rate roughly 30% higher than the factory bars – the fix for a torsion-bar front end that's sagged under a bull bar and winch, or that runs out of adjustment when you try to wind a bit of height back in.
Cranking worn factory bars just moves them further along an already-tired spring; new, stiffer bars restore proper ride height with adjustment to spare and sharpen up the front end's control. Fit as a pair, set the height evenly side-to-side, and finish with a wheel alignment.
Doing the whole vehicle at once? We also stock the matching rear Shocks and rear Leaf Springs for the Isuzu D-MAX RA RC 2008-2012.
Fit with FC42019B front Foam Cell shocks for the complete front end.

Yes - Tough Dog specifies adjusting the bars after the shocks are fitted, keeping at least 60mm of droop travel. Re-check ride height after the first few hundred kilometres of settling.
A moderate suspension lift is generally acceptable in most Australian states, but the allowed total lift and whether certification is needed differ between states and change over time – so always confirm with your state’s transport authority before modifying. Our guide explains how the rules work state by state: are lift kits legal in Australia?
The D-MAX RA/RC shares its platform with the Holden Rodeo RA and Colorado RC, and the same Tough Dog part numbers apply to many of those models. Send us your rego and we will confirm the exact fit before dispatch.
