Tough Dog raised front coil springs for the Jeep Wrangler JL (August 2018 on, excludes Rubicon), approximately 50mm of lift, sold per pair. Up to Steel Bar (TDC1018) or Steel Bar and Winch (TDC1019).
These are Australian-designed and manufactured springs in micro-alloyed spring steel. Each coil is shot-peened, scragged and load-tested before it leaves the factory, and the hot-forming process is what lets them hold their free height under sustained load.
Pick the rate for the weight the vehicle actually carries, not the weight you'd like it to carry – and count only permanent accessories and loads (bar, winch, drawers, long-range tank) when choosing. A spring that's too firm for an unloaded vehicle rides worse than the factory item; one that's too soft sags the moment you load up.
Fit springs in pairs per axle, and book a wheel alignment after any change in ride height. It's also worth checking brake-line slack and bump-stop condition while the suspension is apart.
