Tough Dog Foam Cell front struts (FC404930) for the Jeep Grand Cherokee WK2 (2011 - 2015), sold as a pair. The WK2 runs strut-type front suspension - these are the strut dampers, valved for approximately 40mm of lift with fade-free Foam Cell damping, fitted with the matching raised coils.
Nivomat warning (Tough Dog): these components will NOT fit vehicles equipped with Nivomat self-levelling rear suspension. Check before ordering: standard rear shocks have a 51mm outer diameter, Nivomat shocks are 63mm and are self-contained with no air lines or electrical connections.
These are bare strut cartridges for the Jeep Grand Cherokee WK2 2011-2015 – the damper only, for vehicles where the existing coils and strut tops are staying. If your coils are original or sagging, look at the assembled option instead so the whole corner goes back together fresh.
The Foam Cell is Tough Dog's twin-tube workhorse: a microcellular foam insert takes the place of the usual air gap inside the shock body, so the oil can't foam up as heat builds and the damping stays consistent on long corrugated stretches.
Sold as a pair. Strut replacement disturbs the front geometry, so a wheel alignment afterwards is part of the job.
