Tough Dog front struts for the wide-track Toyota Hilux Rogue Widebody and GR Sport, sold per pair as strut only - no coil, no strut top. Pick Foam Cell (FC404936) or 40mm Adjustable (BM404936).
These are bare strut cartridges for the Toyota Hilux Rogue Widebody & GR Sport – the damper only, for vehicles where the existing coils and strut tops are staying. If your coils are original or sagging, look at the assembled option instead so the whole corner goes back together fresh.
The Foam Cell is Tough Dog's twin-tube workhorse: a microcellular foam insert takes the place of the usual air gap inside the shock body, so the oil can't foam up as heat builds and the damping stays consistent on long corrugated stretches. The 40mm Adjustable adds 9-stage adjustable valving – run it softer for unloaded around-town driving, then firm it up when the vehicle is loaded for touring, without taking anything apart.
Sold as a pair. Strut replacement disturbs the front geometry, so a wheel alignment afterwards is part of the job.

Check your build date and variant against the fitment table on this page – if you're not certain, contact us with your rego or VIN details and we'll confirm fitment before you order.
INSTALLATION NOTE: the angled strut spacer fitted from factory MUST BE RETAINED, and fitted to the top of the Tough Dog assembled strut before installing.
The parts are identical - the Rogue Widebody starts lower so gains approx 40mm front and rear, while the GR Sport (already factory-raised) gains approx 20mm.
Foam Cell is the all-round choice for touring – the foam insert stops the oil aerating so damping stays consistent on corrugations. Step up to the 9-stage Adjustable if the vehicle swings between unloaded weekdays and loaded trips and you want to tune the damping to match, or to the bigger-bore options if it works hard, hot and heavy most of the time.
