Complete Tough Dog suspension kit for the LDV T60 and T60 Max 4x4 (2017 onwards, leaf spring rear), front and rear in one package, with an estimated 40mm of lift front and rear.
Tough Dog build suspension for 4WDs only - not passenger cars - so the valving and spring rates are set for corrugations, load and heat rather than showroom ride. Once a bull bar, winch, canopy or tray load goes on a T60, the factory suspension sags and runs out of control quickly; this kit puts the ride height and damping back where they should be, and every part in it is the same Tough Dog component we sell individually for the T60.
Shock series. Foam Cell front and rear is the standard build - large-bore, fade-resistant damping that suits most owners. Step the rear up to 40mm Adjustable, or run Adjustable at both ends for 9-stage damping you can tune between unladen daily driving and loaded touring.
Front spring rate. Pick the coil for what the front end carries all the time: no bar or an alloy bar, a steel bull bar, or a steel bar plus winch. Count only permanent accessories, not towing weight.
Pre-assembled front struts. Adds new strut tops (2 x ISU-4929) with the strut and coil already built up and torqued, so the front end bolts straight in without a spring compressor and every original mounting plate is replaced.
Rear spring rate. 0-300kg suits a ute with variable loads. Constant 300kg or constant 500kg are for weight that never leaves the vehicle - canopy, drawers, service body or a permanent tray load. Constant-load packs ride firm when empty, so match the rating to what you actually carry.
Rear airbags. Tough Dog Air Assist bellows kit, 40mm lift height - TDAA-126 for the 2017-08/2021 T60 or TDAA-104 for the T60 Max 09/2021-on. If your load changes a lot, airbags are the better answer than a heavier spring: level the vehicle when it is loaded and let it ride soft when it is empty.
Not sure which combination suits your build? Tell us about your bar, winch, canopy or tray and what you tow, and we will spec the kit for you.
| Make | Model | Variant | Years | Rear |

This kit is for the leaf-spring rear T60 and T60 Max only. The coil-rear T60 Max Plus (01/2024-on) uses different rear springs and shocks - see our separate T60 Max Plus parts.

Yes - it suits every leaf-spring rear LDV T60 4x4 from 2017: the original 2.8L T60 (2017-08/2021) and the T60 Max Pro, Luxe and Mega Tub (09/2021-on). Tough Dog use the same struts, coils, leaf springs and shocks on both; only the airbag kit part number differs, and the kit options let you pick the right one. It does not suit the coil-rear T60 Max Plus (01/2024-on).
Two front struts, a pair of 40mm raised front coils in your chosen rate, two 40mm raised rear leaf springs in your chosen load rating, two rear shock absorbers, U-bolts, urethane shackle bushes, greasable shackles and pins, the centre bearing spacer kit and the headlight levelling relocator. Pre-assembled struts with new strut tops and rear airbags are optional extras in the dropdowns.
If you are fitting the kit yourself or want the quickest workshop install, yes. Pre-assembled struts arrive with the strut, coil and a new strut top (ISU-4929) already built up and torqued, so there is no spring compressor work and all the original top plates are replaced rather than reused.
Choose by the weight the ute carries all the time, counting only permanent fitments. 0-300kg (FS214C) suits mixed daily use. Constant 300kg (FS214L) and constant 500kg (FS214LL) are for a canopy, drawers or service body that never comes off. A heavier rating than you need rides firm when empty - if the load varies a lot, add the airbag option instead of going up a rating.
Yes. A 40mm lift changes camber, castor and toe on the independent front end, so book an alignment straight after fitment and re-torque the U-bolts after the first few hundred kilometres. Tough Dog also require their fitting sheet to be completed at installation to keep the warranty intact.
