Tough Dog TD-R Pro Series remote reservoir assembled front coilovers for the Isuzu D-MAX RG (August 2020 on, excludes Blade) - the flagship of the Tough Dog range. Each assembled unit includes strut, coil and all required mounting brackets, with the piggyback-style remote reservoir keeping oil temperatures down under the hardest touring and high-speed off-road use. Sold as a left and right pair, delivering approximately 40mm of lift. Choose coils for No Accessories or up to Steel Bar and Winch.
TD-R Pro Series is Tough Dog's remote-reservoir range: a monotube body paired with a gas-charged remote canister that adds oil capacity and moves heat away from the working piston. Heat is what kills a shock on a long corrugated run – the extra oil volume and the canister keep the damping consistent when a standard twin-tube would start to fade.
Compression and rebound are independently adjustable through 8 stages each, so you can tune the vehicle for its load and the country you're crossing rather than living with one compromise setting.
Fit as a pair, mount the reservoirs where they get airflow and can't chafe, and recheck fasteners after the first few hundred kilometres of dirt.
Doing the whole vehicle at once? We also stock the matching front Coil Springs and assembled Front Struts for the Isuzu D-MAX RG & Mazda BT-50 TF.
Complete the setup with the matching TD-R rear shocks and Tough Dog rear leaf springs.

The external reservoir adds oil volume and keeps nitrogen separate from the oil, so damping stays consistent when the shock works hard - long corrugated runs, heavy loads and high-speed off-road driving that overwhelm conventional shocks.
No - the Blade edition runs different factory suspension and is excluded. All other RG D-MAX 2020-on models are covered.
The listed price covers both sides – always replace left and right together so the axle is evenly damped and sprung. It's a bolt-in job for a competent home mechanic or any workshop; check bushes, mounts and brake-line slack while everything is apart.
Yes - the 2020-on Mazda BT-50 TF is built on the Isuzu D-MAX RG platform and Tough Dog specifies identical part numbers for both. This listing covers the D-MAX RG (excluding Blade) and the BT-50 TF 08/2020 onwards.
