The ToughDog Front Upper Control Arms suit the Mitsubishi Triton ML-MN (2006-2015) and correct caster angle and steering geometry once a 2" to 3" lift kit is fitted. Heavy-duty fabricated arms use greasable ball joints and reinforced bushings to handle constant towing and off-road loads without the premature wear seen on factory stamped arms run at height. Pairing these arms with a matching lift kit keeps CV angles and camber within a workable alignment range at ride height. Backed by ToughDog's manufacturer warranty, they're in stock in Australia with fitment support from our team.
Lift an independent front end and the factory control arms end up working at angles they weren't designed for – the alignment runs out of adjustment and the ball joint operates near the edge of its travel. Aftermarket arms are the proper fix on the Mitsubishi Triton & Pajero Sport: corrected geometry brings castor and camber back into range so the vehicle steers and wears tyres like it should.
Fit as a pair and have the vehicle aligned immediately afterwards – the whole point of the arms is the extra alignment range, and it needs to be dialled in on the machine.

Tough Dog notes that fitting upper control arms to vehicles with lifts greater than 30mm may suffer from premature ball joint failure due to droop lengths. Strut spacers may also affect the performance and longevity of the UCA ball joint. No warranty applies if the vehicle is used outside legal driving conditions, including jumping.
Check your VIN: Triton MRs with KB4 in the VIN use this TDCA-006; vehicles with KL1 in the VIN use the TDCA-020 (see our separate listing). ML-MN, MQ and Pajero Sport all use TDCA-006.
The listed price covers both sides – always replace left and right together so the axle is evenly damped and sprung. Book a wheel alignment straight after fitting: any change to the front end moves camber and castor enough to affect steering and tyre wear.
Once a lifted independent front end can no longer be aligned back into specification – typically from around 40mm of lift – corrected arms are the proper fix rather than maxed-out factory adjustment. They restore castor and camber range and keep the ball joint working in the middle of its travel.
