The Airbag Man Helper Kit fits Toyota Hilux N80 4x4 models (GGN125R, GUN125R and GUN126R including 48V, Rogue and GR Sport) built from July 2015 onwards, mounting heavy-duty rubber airbags between the rear leaf springs and chassis. Airbag Man helper kits use heavy-duty rubber bellows that mount between the chassis and the leaf pack – add air when the load goes on to bring the vehicle back level, then let it out and the standard springs carry on exactly as before. Because each side inflates independently, you can also correct for an off-centre load like a slide-on or water tank.
They shine when the load keeps changing – a van on the towball some weekends, a loaded tray on others. Worth being clear about what they don't do: helper airbags don't increase your GVM or payload; they manage ride height and stability within the vehicle's existing ratings. If the vehicle is always loaded, upgraded springs (with airbags for the variation on top) is the better setup.

Pick Standard Height (RR4682) if your Hilux is at factory ride height. Pick Raised (RR4718) if the vehicle runs a suspension lift — the raised kit is built to suit the extra distance between the leaf spring and chassis so the airbag operates in its correct working range. If you are unsure of your lift height, our team can confirm the right kit from your rego or a quick photo.
The kit bolts between the rear leaf springs and chassis rails using the supplied brackets — no cutting or welding on standard installations. Air lines route to twin inflation valves (commonly mounted at the rear bar) so each side can be adjusted independently. Run minimum pressure unloaded for ride comfort and increase pressure to level the vehicle when towing or loaded. An optional onboard air control kit lets you adjust pressures from the cabin.

This is a helper kit, not a lift kit — it does not raise your Hilux at ride height. Its job is to stop the rear sagging under load: inflating the airbags restores factory ride height when towing or carrying weight, then you drop pressure back for unloaded driving.
You get two heavy-duty double-convoluted rubber airbags, upper and lower mounting brackets, air line, inflation valves, fittings and mounting hardware — everything needed for a standard bolt-in installation on the rear axle.
Standard Height (RR4682) suits a Hilux at factory ride height. Raised (RR4718) suits vehicles with a suspension lift — it is configured for the greater spring-to-chassis distance so the airbag works in its correct range. Fitting a standard kit to a lifted vehicle over-stretches the airbag, so pick the variant that matches your setup.
Yes — that is the most common reason Hilux owners fit one. Increasing air pressure when hitched removes rear-end squat, keeps the headlights aimed correctly and maintains steering and braking geometry. Always stay within Toyota's GVM and towing limits — the kit levels the load, it does not increase legal capacity.
