Front coil springs on a Ranger are a bolt-in job for an experienced DIY installer with a spring compressor, or for any suspension workshop. A wheel alignment is mandatory afterwards because ride height changes camber and caster. Allow around 500km for the springs to settle to their final height. Springs only — struts and shocks are sold separately.
Dobinsons has been designing and manufacturing 4WD suspension in Australia for decades, with springs wound and dampers valved for local loads, corrugations and touring distances rather than adapted from an overseas market spec. Every part is backed by a Dobinsons manufacturer warranty. View the full Dobinsons range to match the rest of your build.
Ranger owners fitting a bull bar, winch or driving lights who need the front end back at the right height, and tourers wanting a firmer front rate before adding weight. Pair with matched front struts for the lift height you choose.

These Dobinsons front coil springs are made for the Ford Ranger PX III (06/2018-2022). They use the factory strut mounts, so no cutting or drilling is needed. They do not suit the PX/PX II (2011-2018), the Next Gen Ranger (2022-on) or Raptor models.
Depending on the option you choose, these springs give either standard height or roughly 2" or 3" of front lift. Actual lift also depends on your current spring sag and the weight of the accessories fitted to the front of the vehicle. Springs rated for a heavier load will sit higher on an unladen vehicle and settle to the intended height once the bar and winch are fitted.
Choose based on what is permanently fitted to the front — a steel bull bar with a winch needs a firmer rate than a stock or alloy bar. If the rate is too soft the front sags and the steering geometry suffers; too firm and an unladen ute rides harshly. Our team can confirm the right option against your accessory list before you order.
A matched pair (2 x) of Dobinsons front coil springs in the option you select, with the exact part number shown in the dropdown. Struts, shocks, control arms and rear springs are sold separately.
Not always, but it is recommended. Fitting raised springs on worn or standard-length struts limits travel and wears the strut out faster. If you are lifting the vehicle, matching Dobinsons struts valved for that lift height will ride better and last longer.
