Tough Dog raised rear coil springs for the Nissan Patrol GQ (Y60) wagon (01/1988 - 1998), sold per pair. Choose 25mm or 50mm of lift and the load rating for how the wagon is used.
Carrying weight often? The 50mm springs can take the Tough Dog coil-insert Air Assist airbag kit from the options below.
Tough Dog coils are designed and made in Australia from micro-alloyed spring steel – shot-peened, scragged and load-tested, and hot-formed on precision mandrels so the spring keeps its height and rate after years of heavy loading.
Pick the rate for the weight the vehicle actually carries, not the weight you'd like it to carry – and count only permanent accessories and loads (bar, winch, drawers, long-range tank) when choosing. A spring that's too firm for an unloaded vehicle rides worse than the factory item; one that's too soft sags the moment you load up.
Fit springs in pairs per axle, and book a wheel alignment after any change in ride height. It's also worth checking brake-line slack and bump-stop condition while the suspension is apart.
Doing the whole vehicle at once? We also stock the matching rear Leaf Springs and rear Shock Absorbers for the Nissan Patrol GQ & GU.

| Make | Model | Series | Years |

| Nissan | Patrol | GU (Y61) Wagon | 12/1997 - 2016 |
Choose the load rating for the weight the vehicle carries most of the time, counting only permanent fitments such as a bar, winch, canopy or drawers. A heavier rating than you need rides firm when unloaded; a lighter one sags once the gear goes in.

Rear coil springs are changed with the axle supported and the lower shock mount unbolted so the axle can drop far enough to slip the old spring out. Check brake hoses, ABS leads and the breather have enough slack at full droop, especially with raised springs, and fit both sides together. Raised springs need shock absorbers with the correct extended length for the new ride height. In most states a suspension lift of up to 50 mm is allowed without certification under VSB14; larger lifts can require engineering approval, so check the rules for your state.

Load ratings refer to permanent extra weight over the axle. Springs do not change the vehicle's GVM or towing capacity.
25mm lift: TDC733 (SWB 0-300kg), TDC732SL (LWB 0-300kg) or TDC732HSL (LWB constant 300kg). 50mm lift: TDC732CL (no load / comfort), TDC732L (0-300kg) or TDC749HL (constant 300kg). Constant-load springs ride firm when empty.
Yes - the GU (Y61) wagon (12/1997 - 2016) uses the same part numbers at every lift height shown here. On the rear coil listing, GQ and GU Wagon springs are labelled separately - pick the one matching your model.
Pick your lift height first - the second dropdown then shows only the parts made for that height. The 25mm and 2" (50mm) options suit the GQ (Y60); the 3" (75mm) to 6" (150mm) options are the shared GQ & GU (Y61) specification (02/1988 - 2016).
Vehicles lifted 100mm or more need the rear tailshaft flipped 180 degrees (front to back) for cross-member clearance, and castor correction is required - contact us. The 200mm/8" shocks are shocks only; Tough Dog makes no suited coils at that height.
Yes. The price covers both Tough Dog springs, one for each side.
If you are changing ride height, yes. Shocks are built for a specific travel range, and a lift moves the axle outside the factory shock's range. If you are replacing springs at standard height, existing shocks in good condition can stay.
