Tough Dog assembled front struts for the Toyota LandCruiser Prado 120 Series incl. Grande (02/2003-2010), sold per pair (left + right, real part numbers per side). Each assembly is a complete bolt-in unit - strut, coil and strut top. Pick OE height or 40mm of lift, then the strut for your damping and accessory load. On models with electronic dampers, replace all four shocks at the same time.
Assembled struts take the spring-compressor work out of a front-end upgrade on the Toyota Prado 120 Series: each unit arrives with the strut, coil and top already assembled and torqued, so it unbolts and bolts back in as a complete assembly.
Select the coil option that matches what the vehicle permanently carries up front – a bare bonnet, a steel bar, or bar plus winch – so the finished height lands where it should. Count only permanent accessories when choosing.
Fit them as a pair and book a wheel alignment straight after – any strut change on an independent front end moves camber and castor enough to matter for tyre wear.

The listed price covers both sides – always replace left and right together so the axle is evenly damped and sprung. Book a wheel alignment straight after fitting: any change to the front end moves camber and castor enough to affect steering and tyre wear.
A moderate suspension lift is generally acceptable in most Australian states, but the allowed total lift and whether certification is needed differ between states and change over time – so always confirm with your state’s transport authority before modifying. Yes - the electronically controlled dampers on the 120 Series can be replaced with Tough Dog shocks without error indicators appearing, but all FOUR shock absorbers must be replaced at the same time. The electronically-adjustable height control of factory rear airbags is not affected if operating correctly.
Yes - use the TDC975AB / TDC975HAB airbag-conversion springs. The electronic workaround in the supplied instructions prevents error indicators, but it disables the electronic dampening system, so all four electronic dampers must be replaced with Tough Dog shocks at the same time. You also need the genuine Toyota bump-stop coil retainer, part 48302-60080. A 76mm sway bar spacer (TDSP-011, $75) is also available - contact us.
