Airbag Man coil-insert air helper kit for the rear coils of the Toyota LandCruiser 100 Series. Choose the standard kit (CR5050) for towing and touring loads, or the high pressure kit (CR5050HP) with internal bump stop for heavy constant loads.
Airbag Man helper kits use coil-insert air springs that sit inside the existing coils – add air when the load goes on to bring the vehicle back level, then let it out and the standard springs carry on exactly as before. Because each side inflates independently, you can also correct for an off-centre load like a slide-on or water tank.
They shine when the load keeps changing – a van on the towball some weekends, a loaded tray on others. Worth being clear about what they don't do: helper airbags don't increase your GVM or payload; they manage ride height and stability within the vehicle's existing ratings. If the vehicle is always loaded, upgraded springs (with airbags for the variation on top) is the better setup.

The air springs sit inside the existing rear coils, so the factory springs stay in place. Air lines run to two inflation valves, usually mounted at the rear bar, so each side adjusts on its own. Run 5 psi unloaded and add pressure to bring the vehicle back to level when towing or loaded, up to 30 psi on the standard kit or 60 psi on the HP kit. Airbag Man notes that drilling is required for this fitment. Typical fitting time is 120 minutes.
