The Tough Dog 40mm suspension lift kit for the all-new Toyota Hilux N90 4x4 (2026 onwards) lifts your Hilux approximately 40mm, improving clearance, ride quality and load-handling on and off road. The N90 shares its badge with the N80 but runs updated components, weights and geometry - this kit is developed and tuned specifically for the new platform, not carried over. Build your kit from the dropdowns: Foam Cell or 9-position adjustable shocks, front coils to suit your accessories, rear leaf springs to suit your constant load, optional pre-assembled front struts, greasable shackles and pins, and Tough Dog's new upper control arms.

Select springs to suit your constant load only. Front: No Accessories (stock front end), Steel Bar (bull bar fitted), or Steel Bar and Winch. Rear: 0-300kg for general use, or constant 300kg / 500kg / 800kg ratings for permanently loaded vehicles (canopies, service bodies, campers). Towing and occasional loads do not count as constant load - over-springing causes poor flex and a rough ride. Contact us if you are unsure and we will match the correct rates.
Bolt-in installation. Choosing pre-assembled front struts means the struts arrive built with new factory strut tops - no strut compressor required. Upper control arms are recommended for correct wheel alignment at lift height. A wheel alignment is required after fitting.
Approximately 40mm front and rear. Please note that all assembled struts are dispatched at a height based on our experience and the manufacturer's specifications for the advertised lift. Coil springs and leaf springs are also manufactured according to the advertised height and constant-load rating. Actual vehicle height may vary depending on the vehicle and the weight of fitted accessories. Further adjustment may therefore be required after installation. The installer may use coil spacers or adjust the struts at their discretion to achieve the desired height. We are not responsible for vehicle-specific height variations or any additional adjustments required after installation.
No - while the N90 looks similar to the N80, Toyota updated components, weights and geometry across the platform. This kit is developed and tuned specifically for the 2026+ N90 4x4, so parts are not interchangeable with N80 kits.
The front struts arrive assembled with new factory strut tops, so every mounting plate is replaced and no strut compressor is needed - a faster and safer installation.
Foam Cell front and rear suits most tourers - fade-resistant and comfortable. The 9-position adjustable options let you tune damping for heavy loads, towing or corrugated touring; choose adjustable on the rear only, or on both ends for full control.
