This complete Tough Dog suspension kit for the Suzuki Jimny XL 5 door (2023 - On) lifts the vehicle approximately 40mm front and rear. Rate the springs to the weight the vehicle carries all the time: a steel bull bar, winch, canopy, drawers, long-range tank or service body. Camping gear, a trailer or an occasional load do not count. Going too heavy on the springs gives a harsh unladen ride and less wheel travel, so if the vehicle is between ratings, pick the lighter one and talk to us if you are unsure.
Bolt-in fitment with no cutting or welding. The castor correction parts are fitted with the front springs and set during the wheel alignment. A wheel alignment is required after fitting. A lift of this size is within the limits most states allow without engineering, but check your local rules.

The kit comes with Tough Dog Foam Cell shocks front and rear, valved for the raised springs. A new steering damper is optional: heavy duty is a straight replacement, return-to-centre adds self-centring with bigger tyres, and the adjustable type lets you tune the resistance. Castor correction is included because raising a solid front axle reduces castor; the parts are set during the wheel alignment.
A workshop takes around 4 to 5 hours to fit this kit to a Suzuki Jimny XL 5 door, plus the wheel alignment.
