Tough Dog rear leaf springs for the Isuzu D-MAX RG (August 2020 on), approximately 40mm raised, sold as a pair. Choose the rate for your constant load, then add exactly the fitting hardware you need and optional Tough Dog bellows airbags from the options.
These are progressive-rate packs – every leaf sits in contact along its full length with the leaf above, which is what keeps the unladen ride tolerable on a working ute.
Two-stage packs carry a lighter primary stage for everyday ride quality, with heavier second-stage leaves that only come into play as the load goes on – that's what stops the rear sagging with a canopy, tools or a camper on the back. Choose the rating by the constant load the vehicle carries, counting only permanent weight.
The matching U-bolts, greasable shackles and pins, and bush kits are available from the option dropdowns on this page – if the originals have been on since new, replace them while the pack is out rather than reusing stretched U-bolts.
Doing the whole vehicle at once? We also stock the matching rear Shock Absorbers and TD-R Remote Reservoir Rear Shocks for the Isuzu D-MAX RG & Mazda BT-50 TF 2020-On.
Matching rear shocks complete the rear end.
Count only constant load: general use → FS215C; permanent 300kg → FS214L; permanent 500kg → FS214LL. Towing does not count. Contact us if unsure.

Genuine Tough Dog suspension from an authorised Australian dealer.
Only with the Constant 300kg (FS214L) or Constant 500kg (FS214LL) springs - Tough Dog notes the TDSK-021 bracket fits with L/LL springs only, so it is not offered with the 0-300kg spring.
Match the rating to the weight the vehicle carries all the time – count only permanent additions (bar, winch, canopy, drawers, long-range tank), not luggage or towball weight. The options on this page cover 0-300kg, 300kg, Constant 300kg, 500kg, Constant 500kg. If the vehicle is mostly unloaded, stay at the lighter end; going too firm hurts the unladen ride. Still unsure? Send us your setup and we'll confirm the right spring.
Yes - Tough Dog specifies the same springs for the RG 4x2 model, where they work as an OE-height heavy-duty upgrade rather than a lift: constant 200kg (FS215C), constant 400kg (FS214L) or constant 600kg (FS214LL) payloads while maintaining factory ride height. On the 4x4 they deliver approximately 40mm of lift at the lighter ratings shown in the dropdown.
Yes - the 2020-on Mazda BT-50 TF is built on the Isuzu D-MAX RG platform and Tough Dog specifies identical part numbers for both. This listing covers the D-MAX RG (excluding Blade) and the BT-50 TF 08/2020 onwards.
