Tough Dog TD-R Pro Series remote reservoir rear shock absorbers for the Isuzu D-MAX RG (August 2020 on), sold as a left and right pair (PRO1031 / PRO1032) and supplied with all required mounting spacers. Covers standard height up to approximately 40mm of lift with fade-free damping for the hardest touring use.
The TD-R Pro Series sits at the top of the Tough Dog range: monotube construction with a high-flow race piston, plus a gas-charged remote reservoir that prevents aeration and gives the oil somewhere to shed heat on sustained rough-road running.
Compression and rebound are independently adjustable through 8 stages each, so you can tune the vehicle for its load and the country you're crossing rather than living with one compromise setting.
Fit as a pair, mount the reservoirs where they get airflow and can't chafe, and recheck fasteners after the first few hundred kilometres of dirt.

The external reservoir adds oil volume and keeps nitrogen separate from the oil, so damping stays consistent under sustained hard use where conventional shocks fade.
The listed price covers both sides – always replace left and right together so the axle is evenly damped and sprung. It's a bolt-in job for a competent home mechanic or any workshop; check bushes, mounts and brake-line slack while everything is apart.
A moderate suspension lift is generally acceptable in most Australian states, but the allowed total lift and whether certification is needed differ between states and change over time – so always confirm with your state’s transport authority before modifying.
