Tough Dog assembled front struts for the Isuzu D-MAX RG (MY19+, August 2020 on, excludes Blade), delivering approximately 40mm of front lift. Each strut arrives complete - strut, coil and strut top - and bolts straight in with no spring compressor. Sold as a pair, with Foam Cell or 9-position 40mm Adjustable struts and coil rates for no accessories or steel bar / bar and winch.
Assembled struts take the spring-compressor work out of a front-end upgrade on the Isuzu D-MAX RG & Mazda BT-50 TF 2020-On: each unit arrives with the strut, coil and top already assembled and torqued, so it unbolts and bolts back in as a complete assembly.
Select the coil option that matches what the vehicle permanently carries up front – a bare bonnet, a steel bar, or bar plus winch – so the finished height lands where it should. Count only permanent accessories when choosing.
Fit them as a pair and book a wheel alignment straight after – any strut change on an independent front end moves camber and castor enough to matter for tyre wear.
Doing the whole vehicle at once? We also stock the matching front Coil Springs and front Struts for the Isuzu D-MAX RG & Mazda BT-50 TF 2020-On.
Prefer to re-use your coils? See the bare Tough Dog struts.

Genuine Tough Dog suspension from an authorised Australian dealer.
No - Tough Dog excludes the Blade edition for this application (it runs different factory suspension). All other RG D-MAX 2020-on models are covered.
The listed price covers both sides – always replace left and right together so the axle is evenly damped and sprung. Book a wheel alignment straight after fitting: any change to the front end moves camber and castor enough to affect steering and tyre wear.
A moderate suspension lift is generally acceptable in most Australian states, but the allowed total lift and whether certification is needed differ between states and change over time – so always confirm with your state’s transport authority before modifying. Our guide explains how the rules work state by state: are lift kits legal in Australia?
Yes - the 2020-on Mazda BT-50 TF is built on the Isuzu D-MAX RG platform and Tough Dog specifies identical part numbers for both. This listing covers the D-MAX RG (excluding Blade) and the BT-50 TF 08/2020 onwards.
