The Bilstein Lift Kit for the Toyota Landcruiser 100 Series IFS (1998-2007) uses adjustable heavy-duty torsion bars to deliver 0-2" of front lift, paired with Bilstein B6 Offroad monotube shocks front and rear and King rear coil springs rated for touring loads. This combination lifts the front independently to match your bull bar and winch weight, while the rear coils and shocks handle camper trailers and constant accessory load. Every kit is dispatched from Australian stock with a manufacturer warranty and fitment guidance from our in-house team. Check compatible parts via our 100 Series parts finder before you order.

Choose your rear coil spring rate based on what stays fitted to the vehicle full-time — not just what you carry occasionally. Common accessories that add constant load include dual battery trays, long-range fuel tanks, drawer systems, fridge slides, roof racks and camper trailer tow ball weight. If you're running most of these together, tell us your fitted accessory weight so we can confirm the King rear coil spring rate suits your setup before you order.
This kit involves torsion bar adjustment and shock replacement, so we recommend fitting by an experienced 4WD suspension installer or a workshop familiar with 100 Series torsion bar setup rather than a first-time DIY job. A wheel alignment is mandatory after fitment because front ride height changes caster and camber. Allow a 500km break-in period for the King coil springs to settle before final ride height is judged. Consider pairing this kit with upgraded control arms to correct front geometry and CV angles at the raised height.
Bilstein is a German shock absorber manufacturer with decades of monotube damper development, and the B6 Offroad range is specifically valved for lifted 4WDs running heavier bull bars and touring gear. Kits are backed by manufacturer warranty and stocked locally for Australian dispatch, so you're not waiting on overseas freight for replacement parts. Tradespeople and grey nomads alike run Bilstein-equipped Landcruisers for the combination of load control and everyday ride comfort — view the full Bilstein range to compare shock options.
This kit suits 100 Series IFS owners fitting a bull bar, winch and touring accessories who need adjustable front lift without a full spring change. It's also a solid base for caravan and camper trailer tow rigs where rear load support matters. If you're carrying uneven or seasonal loads, also look at our airbag suspension options to add load-levelling on top of this kit.

This kit is built specifically for the 100 Series IFS front end (HDJ100/UZJ100), fitted from 1998 to 2007. It suits the independent front suspension variant with 1HD-FTE 4.2L diesel, 1FZ-FE 4.5L petrol or 2UZ-FE 4.7L petrol engines. It is not for the solid-axle 105 Series front end. If you're unsure which front suspension your Landcruiser has, our team can confirm from your VIN or model plate.
Front lift is adjustable from 0 to 2" through the torsion bar preload adjuster, so you can dial in height after fitment. The rear is set by the King coil springs supplied in the kit, which are matched to typical touring accessory loads. Actual ride height also depends on vehicle weight and what's fitted to the front, such as a winch bar. Our fitment team can talk you through expected height for your specific setup.
Please note that all assembled struts are dispatched at a height based on our experience and the manufacturer’s specifications for the advertised lift. Coil springs and leaf springs are also manufactured according to the advertised height and constant-load rating. Actual vehicle height may vary depending on the vehicle and the weight of fitted accessories. Further adjustment may therefore be required after installation. The installer may use coil spacers or adjust the struts at their discretion to achieve the desired height. We are not responsible for vehicle-specific height variations or any additional adjustments required after installation.
The kit includes 2 Bilstein B6 Offroad front shocks, 2 Bilstein B6 Offroad rear shocks, 2 adjustable torsion bars, 2 King rear coil springs and the mounting hardware and bump stops needed for installation. Upper and lower control arms are not included and are sold separately if required. Full fitting instructions are supplied with the kit. See the kit contents list above for the complete itemised breakdown.
Yes. The King rear coil springs in this kit are rated to support constant touring loads such as camper trailer tow ball weight, and the Bilstein B6 Offroad shocks are valved to control that extra load rather than just cushion it. If you tow a heavier van or trailer regularly, tell us your fitted accessory and tow ball weight so we can confirm the coil rate is right, or discuss adding airbag suspension for extra rear support.
Control arms aren't included in this kit but are worth considering once you've raised the front. At 2" of front lift, factory control arms can run the CV joints and ball joints at a sharper angle than standard, which upgraded arms correct. It's not mandatory at this lift height, but many 100 Series owners fit upgraded control arms at the same time to restore factory-like geometry. Ask our team if you're unsure whether it's needed for your use.
Yes, a wheel alignment is mandatory after installing this kit. Adjusting the torsion bars changes front ride height, which shifts caster and camber angles from factory settings. Skipping alignment leads to uneven tyre wear and can affect steering feel. We recommend booking an alignment straight after fitment and again after the 500km break-in period.
The rear King coil springs supplied are selected for typical touring accessory loads on the 100 Series IFS. If your rear-fitted accessories (dual battery, drawers, fridge, camper tow ball weight) sit outside a typical setup, let us know your total constant load and we can advise whether a different rate coil suits better. Front lift height is separately adjustable via the torsion bars regardless of rear spring rate. Speak to our fitment team before ordering if your accessory load is unusually heavy.
A 2" front lift with matching rear height typically creates useful extra clearance for a larger tyre diameter on most 100 Series builds, but exact clearance depends on your wheel offset and guard trimming. We recommend confirming your intended tyre size with our team before ordering so we can advise on rubbing points at full lock and full compression. Wheel alignment after fitment also helps avoid clearance issues from incorrect camber.
This Bilstein lift kit is covered by manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Warranty terms are honoured through our Australian-based support, so you're not dealing with an overseas supplier if an issue comes up. Keep your proof of purchase and fitment date for any warranty claim. Contact our team directly if you have a concern with a fitted component.
Yes. The Bilstein B6 Offroad shocks are valved to keep on-road comfort while still controlling the extra load and travel from the lift, so the 100 Series remains comfortable as a daily driver. Many owners run this exact setup as their everyday vehicle and take it touring on weekends without changing components. Ride quality on-road will feel firmer than a soft factory shock, which is normal for a shock valved to also handle off-road loads.
